Review Policy
Every app submitted to bundl.run goes through a manual review process to ensure quality and fit. This page explains the steps, timelines, and how we handle ranking.
The Six Review States
Your submission will be in one of these six states at any given time.
- Draft: You have started a submission but have not yet sent it for review.
- Pending: You have submitted your app and it is in the queue for our team to review.
- Needs Changes: We have reviewed your app and it requires changes to meet our guidelines. We will provide specific feedback.
- Approved/Scheduled: Your app has been approved and is scheduled to launch in the next available Monday cohort.
- Live: Your app is now live on the site.
- Rejected/Delisted: Your app was rejected for not meeting our guidelines after a review, or a previously live app has been delisted for a policy violation.
Review Timelines (SLAs)
We are a small team, but we aim to be prompt and transparent.
- First Review: We review all new submissions within 48 hours on business days (Monday-Friday).
- Re-Review: If your submission needs changes, we will re-review it within 48 hours of you resubmitting it.
- Appeals: If you believe your app was rejected unfairly, you can appeal the decision. We will review appeals within 5 business days.
A Note on Ranking
Our goal is a fair and transparent ranking system.
- Voting: Ranking is determined by votes. We allow one vote per verified email address.
- Vote Monitoring: We reserve the right to discount votes that appear to be from coordinated, inauthentic sources (e.g., vote rings or bots).
- No Vote Buying: Any app found to be buying votes or engaging in similar manipulation will be permanently removed from the directory rankings.
- Algorithm Privacy: The exact ranking algorithm is kept private to prevent manipulation. It is designed to surface high-quality, community-approved apps.
